Last month we traveled to Tbilisi to conduct animation workshop at
Pocket Studio. The workshop was a part of Social Design Days organized by
Polish Graphic Design and Polish Institute in Georgia. It was focused on an analog technique we used for a music video we directed back in 2009 for a UK based band Oi Va Voi. It was the first music video we directed as Kijek/Adamski so it means a great deal to us.
Before the workshop, we gave a talk on the value of creative experimentation — and how analog approaches can offer a meaningful alternative to the growing wave of auto-generated content. It was a chance to reflect on how hands-on methods still have a place in today’s cloud-based, digital-first world.
