250 years after Constantin Brâncuși was born, we had an opportunity to draw inspiration from his work. Thanks to an invitation from MoMA, we co-created an episode of the award-winning series "Once Upon an Artwork". Each episode starts with a different work of art from MoMA’s collection being shown to children to spark their imagination. The story evolves through unrestrained conversation, resulting in untamed chains of events. "The Tale of the Golden Egg" was ignited by Brâncuși’s "Bird in Space" (1953), discussed by Jaxon and Musa.
We interpreted the unmistakable shapes created by the French-Romanian sculptor to create a tactile, mixed-media world subjected to kids’ logic.
